Food Logging
I would like to be able to have a choice in ALL the foods. tbsp, tsp, grams, slice, pieces, ml, oz, lbs, ect. And default to one and I am able to key in the number amount.
Example:
Pur gum auto to 2 pieces because that is a serving size. I only eat one piece so I have to figure out how to key that in (don’t like math) I would be nice to have it as pieces and I key in 1.

Hi @ShundaMR
Products that haven't been analyzed by NCCDB and USDA have nutrition labels that only include a very basic set of 14 nutrients mandated by law. This does include serving size, as we are not able to extrapolate volumetric serving sizes if we do not know the density of the product. The foods with the most choices for serving size are typically found in NCCDB and USDA listings in our database. To learn more about choosing the best data sources for your needs, have a look at this blog post: https://cronometer.com/blog/6-tips-getting-nutrition-data/
If you would like to change the serving size of a food that is already in our database, I would recommend saving a custom copy of the food and adding the serving sizes that are more useful to you. Search for the listing in the foods tab of Cronometer and select the food. This will open a summary of the food's nutrition data. Then select the settings menu in the top right corner (Gear icon). Choose "Save a copy". Make the edits you would like, and then be sure to save your new custom food. This listing will now populate your custom foods list.
