vegan category
Unless I am doing something wrong, no one of the food choices in Oracle clearly discriminates vegan options. Legume products, vegetable products, cereals all come up with non vegan stuff. This makes searching for specific macro/micronutrients very time-expensive.
Would it be possible to clearly label vegan options? Thanks.

Hi chiarag,
That's a great suggestion to make it easier to find vegan-specific sources for nutrients using the Oracle food search. Thanks for sharing your feedback.
Our categorization should prevent animal products from finding their way into categories like Vegetables and Vegetable Products or Legumes and Legume Products, etc. It never hurts to be more explicit about limiting your searches to vegetarian or vegan options only.
Best,

I used the Oracle function to look for foods with protein. ALL of the recommendations were animal-based except for soy protein isolate. Is there a plant-based setting to exclude all those inappropriate foods?
