find last "x" times I used a recipe item
I would like to search on recipe items I have entered into the diary. This would be especially useful for items which I only use occasionally. What did I use them for? When? For example I have custom herb and spice recipes. When did I use that? If I could find it in a search I could see how it was used in a meal or other recipe. You could limit the number found; no need to see the thousands of times I used onions, for example. Love this program and appreciate the constant upgrades and improvements. Thanks.

Hi mfox,
Thanks for your support and for taking the time to suggest more features to improve Cronometer!
I can think of a work around for you, if you would like to access this information right away. Export your data in the Profile tab. Click the gear icon in the Account Information section and select Export Data. Choose a date range you would like to include, then choose Export Servings. Open the csv file and then you can search within the document for an ingredient. Not as streamlined as the feature you are asking for, but it will get the job done for now.
Cheers,

Try do this on a mobile phone...
Try do this fast and practical
Try remember this next time you need it...I read such hints about csv exports many times supposedly solving all problems... How many times have I used it? I tried 1 time and left it at that...
I highly appreciate a practical solution - not only for "how many times have I used a recipe item" but for everything: simply give a chart of when how much of this or that was consumed. Just like the existing charts showing consumption of vitamin or mineral X

Btw the following feature request would also solve the "when did I use what" type of requests, and more problems concerning the past in crono:
