Omega 3 and Omega 6
I would like the diary to display the ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 besides the totals for each and I think many other people would appreciate it also.

Hi YDM,
Thanks for your feedback, I have added this to our to-do list.

i would love this too. . . this is probably one of the most clinically relevant ratios of all the ratios currently available. thank you

With a Gold subscription you can see the ratio in the Nutrient Balances section of your diary:
You can edit which balances are shown here by going to: Settings > Display > Nutrient Balances.I hope that helps!

I have a gold subscription and cannot see the omega-3 to omega-6 ratio. I'm also a cardiologist and try to ask patients to lower their ratio and I recommend this app. It would be great if it showed the ratio. The other ones still possibly important don't seem to have the same weight of clinical relevance.

ahhhh found it! thank you! sorry about the confusion. . .

Hi, I have a Gold membership and I can't find the ratio. Can you please help me? This is what I see in my profile.

That's the ratio! It shows your number in the middle, with the needle pointing at the green zone to aim for (nice job!).
You can calculate the ratio by checking out your intake of omega-6 and omega-3 in your nutrient targets in your diary. Take the omega-6 value and divide it by your omega-3 value and there you have it!

So, do you mean that my ratio yesterday was 4:13? But the number in the middle does not give me the ratio, rather a number in the form of X.XXX.

Yes, we display the ratio as a number. Without doing the calculation your ratio is the number of grams of omega-6 : grams of omega-3 shown in your targets in the Fat section of your diary targets.

Sorry, but I don't understand. The grams on the 23rd of June were as follows:
omega6: 15g
omega3: 3.4gHow is this related to the graphic which shows 4.13 in the middle of the icon?
-
15 g omega-6 / 3.4 g omega-3 = 4.41
Your ratio should be closer to 4.41. If you are still seeing 4.13 we'd like to investigate further. Would you mind sending us a screenshot of your ratio and omega-6 and -3 targets?
Thank you!
