Saving a food item from the "Search Foods" to the "Create New Food"

How can I save all the data from a food item found in the "Search Foods" window to my "Create New Food" window? I hate having to type each detail.

Hello @debbietay ,

If you are looking to add foods to your diary, you can use the 'Add Food' button at the top of your diary.

If you are looking to edit a copy of an existing food select 'Search Foods' in the 'Foods tab' and search for the food and select it, this will open the food editor. Select the gear icon in the top right hand corner and select 'Edit a Copy' to save your copy.

Thank you, I'll give it a try. I don't really want to edit the foods in the "Search Foods," I just want to save them and I can't see how to do that.
