Why does Cronometer not show protein amino acid breakdown for Hemp Yeah!?
I was curious why Cronometer does not show the protein amino acid breakdown for Manitoba Harvest Hemp Yeah! How are you to know where you stand in terms of your individual amino acid profiles without this information?

Because that's a brand name item submitted by users. If the product is just hemp seed, I would use generic entries from the NCCDB such as "hemp seed, unhulled" or "hemp seed, hulled" for the most comprehensive nutrition profile.

The product is hemp protein powder, which is made from the seeds. The only thing on cronometer is for the actual seeds, which means that any information would not be accurate for the powder.

Hi jk19,
If you have the product label handy, submit an issue with the food and send our curation team a photo of the amino acid profile. We will update the nutrition information for this product ASAP!

Karen, This product is actually listed as a supplement on Cronometer. The label on the product does not list the amino acid breakdown.

Hi jk19,
We can add supplements as well!
We rely on the nutrition information reported by the manufacturer for brand name products because we do not know the ingredients they have used or the proportions.
