Saving and Printing Recipes
Are there any plans for a backup feature so that all custom recipes can be saved locally? Also, the ability to print recipes in a nice, clean format would be very welcome!

Hi veganbrewchef,
Thanks for your feedback!
Exporting your recipe as a .json file will save in a format that will allow you to import into Cronometer again in the future, if you would like to back up your recipes for this purpose. Saving as a pdf will allow you to save it for viewing later.
The display for printing function, then saving as a pdf shows the same format as the recipe on our website. We will do some thinking on how to make this a cleaner format.

Hi veganbrewchef,
Cronometer has a few options for you! Open your recipe in the Foods tab, then click the settings menu (gear icon) in the top right corner to discover these options:
You can export your recipe to save it, or display for printing to save as a pdf or print a copy.

Karen,
The export to CSV does not export the ingredients or instructions - only the nutrition info. The display for printing does not result in a print-friendly format (try it). -
Thanks Karen. That and a real backup function or export to Microsoft Word, for instance, would make the product much more useful. Perhaps these could be features of the Pro version, to entice people to upgrade.
