Is there a way to "hide" the new Search Result Tabs?

I use a Chromebox connected to a 32" TV screen. I have a few extensions that change font style and size, text/letter size (same as font size, I suppose), etc. and when I go to add a food, sometimes the serving size is not visible at the bottom of the screen. Maybe it would be if I had a 50" screen, but I don't.
Edit: Before the new search result tab. the serving size was visible.
