Is there a way to add foods in such a way that I can place them in between other previously added items and not at the end of the list?
If you are using timestamps, the food will be inserted into your diary according to the time associated with it.
Once you have added a diary you can also drag and drop to organize your items

Thanks Hilary, I was not aware of the drag and drop capability, that works out my problem which was to group together food in similar classes. My strategy to save time is always to copy from previous day, changing amounts, adding additional items. The process is facilitated if similar foods are grouped together.
@mccoy Have you tried using the diary group feature as well? This is a Gold feature which sounds like it may suit you as well! https://cronometer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018306311
Hi Hilary, my gold version is expired now so I can't chek, I'm not interested into meals groups but can I choose whatever group names I wish, such as: fruit, vegetables, nuts, oil, cheese....? That would suit my requirements perfectly.
You sure can! All Diary group names are completely customizable. You can read more about diary groups in the User manual article linked above.
Thanks very much!
