  • I'm sorry those steps didn't resolve the issue.
We've got a bug logged, if you've got any examples you can send via email that would be great help!

  • @rohlicycle Cronometer imports Active calories from Garmin, which they calculate from what is burned throughout the day only while doing physical, non-sedentary, activity such as walking or working out. They use your activity level, type of activity, age, height, weight, gender, and heart rate (if available) to calculate how much you burn.

Depending on your activity level settings we may remove some calories (to remove potential overlap)

  • @Karen_Cronometer thanks for the follow-up! Really appreciate it!

  • I know this thread is a bit old now, but in case anyone else finds it as they are searching for help on this issue, here's is what I found to help.

    Issue:
Daily Activity calories from Garmin were being added until I had a workout recorded, at which time Daily Activity calories went to 0. Additionally, there was about a 200 kcal difference between Garmin's total daily calories and Cronometer's.

    Fixes:

    • Logging into the Cronometer app on my phone, rather than just the web version, updated the Daily Calories so it no longer showed as 0
    • Setting my lifestyle from None to Sedentary in Cronometer fixed the additional daily calorie difference and also seemed to help bring in additional non-activity calories
