Search Engine where Most Used Items Appear First
Hi Cronometer team,
I have thoroughly enjoyed using Cronometer for the reliability of information and ease of use.
I have noticed that when I go to add a food item, some familiar items pop up in the "All". However, when I start typing my item into the search bar, the foods that are shown are in direct correlation to what I'm typing. This isn't an issue unless I have forgotten the name of the item I want when it is an item I've logged before.
For example: I log "Dave's Killer Bread, 21 whole wheat" almost once a week. If I forgot the actual name while I am eating my packed lunch at work, is it possible to just type "bread" and my most recent item with that in the title will pop up?
Thanks for providing such a great tool!

Hi @SuperCentenarianGoal
Great question. The food search functionality is actually something we are working on addressing in a new update. Stay tuned for updates!I recommend using the Favorites option for the instance you mention. Tap the star to mark a food as favorite. Then, if you don't remember which item it is, search in the "favorites" tab and you will be presented with the items you have marked as favorites only.

I use the method Hilary recommends. I have some commonly used items in my favorites which is easy to switch on and off with the start icon - and then if I type Dave's while on that tab, the dave's bread I use comes up (because I use one of the thin sliced, but can never remember which).
