Why are carb types not adding up to total carbs?
I noticed that in the Daily Nutrition Summary that the total carbs does not equal the sum of sugar, sugar alcohol, starch, and fiber. Is there a carbohydrate type I am not aware of, or maybe there is an app setting that I am missing?

Hello @Jbul ,
That does sound strange! Would it be possible to send us some screenshots at support@cronometer.com?

I've seen this too. This comes from database entries that do not include "starch".
For example "S&W garbanzo beans, canned" doesn't have starch, supposedly (but it does, of course)
