Not understanding my numbers
Hi. New to the forum but loving Cronometer. I followed your advice and set my activity level to none as I'm using a fitbit to track my exercise etc. My goal is 2 lbs per week as I have 100 lbs to lose. Right now it says 1574 kcal burned and 576 kcal remaining. Does this mean I can only eat another 576 cal today if I don't exercise? FYI walking 5-7 miles a day alternating with cardio/weights as well. I'm so confused. Help!

You got it! The purple box refers to your calorie budget that is needed for weight loss. Staying within the budget helps to maintain the deficit that you need to achieve weight loss.

ok so essentially the more I exercise and burn the "more" I can eat (within reason). I burned 1000 calories from exercise yesterday so my food budget would've been up. I get it. Thanks so much!

Hi @Kmurphy73,
This is based off the weight loss goal of -2.0 lbs/week that you have set. This has set your target calories to a 1000 calorie per day deficit.
Your weight loss goal can be changed in the Settings tab.

ok thank you very much Marie-Eve and Susan as well. I will for sure change that. I've lost 96 lbs so far and still have a ways to go but slow and steady wins the race
