calculation of calories in a recipe after cooking?
I translate
I have saved many recipes in my Account, only I am not sure I understand one thing. When I enter my muffin recipe for example the total weight of my recipe is higher raw than after baking since I can make 10 muffins so I put 10 portions and when I weigh my cooked muffins their corresponding not corresponding to the weight of serving. .. (they are lighter)
should you count while serving anyway or should you enter the weight in grams of the cooked muffin? how are the calories of a cooked recipe processed?
I do not know if I am very clear in my question but I hope someone can enlighten me

Hi Celia,
I would suggest you define your recipe as having 10 servings per recipe, then enter in 1 serving when you have 1 muffin.
Like this on the website:
The weight will be different after cooking due to water loss.

Thank so much karen for your answer.
So if i understand well, anyway if my muffin cooked is about 40g but as 1 serving (whith the raw ingredients in the recipe data) is about 80g...? the Kcal and nutrient are the same?
Best regards

Hi Celia,
Some nutrient values can vary after they have been cooked, but dividing the recipe into portions like this will give you a great estimate of what is in each muffin.
