wrong values in Oracle?
Hi there,
I searched the oracle for Lutein+Zeaxanthin-rich foods. Kale cooked from fresh is supposed to have 18.3 mg/100 g but when adding it to the diary it returns 5.9 mg/100g. It is supposed to be the same value.

Hi Nutritarian,
Oh no! I see what you mean - thanks for letting us know. I have logged a bug to get this fixed.

I have a follow-up question. Kale is listed as the top of the oracle list when searching for Lutein+Zeaxanthin. There is a version of Kale which is called "Cut 'n Clean Greens, "Lacinato", Organic Tuscan Kale" which has the double amount of these nutrients. Why doesn`t this show up on top of the oracle list?
Thanks!

Hi Nutritarian,
We only include the lab analyzed data sources from NCCDB and USDA in the Oracle food searches. Packaged products usually have far less nutrition information available, and round the values on the label so they don't give you the full picture when it comes to your nutrition.

Coming soon! It's being worked on at the moment. Sorry I can't give you an exact timeline, you never know when something unexpected can delay a fix. I'll give an update here when we release it though.
