Sync With Apple

I am having a problem with apple health syncing the correct active calories number. Currently my move shows I've burned 843 calories for 84 min however when i look at what is in cronometer is shows 84 min but only 600.88 kcal. Also, when I workout I use a myzone belt and it is also putting that number in as other apple health and shows what myzone said i burned during my workout which is 635 active calories. I've attached a screen shot of what cronometer looks like

  • Hi Diane,

There seem to be some bugs with third-party app writing into Apple Health. Some users have been able to work around the issue by Turning off the Apple Health sharing permissions for Active Energy with their third-party apps, but keeping Workouts permissions turned on.

You can turn off your third-party's app permission to write Active Energy data into Apple Health:

    1. Go to your iPhone's Settings
    2. Privacy
    3. Health
    4. Select your third-party app
    5. For Allow ''XXX'' to Write Data, toggle off Active Energy

Your Active Energy should no longer be double-counted in Cronometer.

Let us know if this does not resolve the issue going forward!

  • I will try that however apple health is showing that I've burned 845 yet it's only showing 600.88 in cronometer.

  • If you wouldn't mind writing us an email at support@cronometer.com we can help walk you through some trouble shooting.

    Thanks!
