How many "friends" can recipes be shared with and do they need Gold too?

Also, assuming I get Cronometer Gold, is there a way for people to request access to my recipes? Or do I need to have their email first?

I believe you would invite them to be your friends in Cronometer, then once your accounts are linked up you can choose to share custom foods and recipes. Only the account inviting the friend needs gold. I think both accounts can choose to share custom foods, but I'm not sure.

We don't have limit on the number of friends you can add. You can share your custom foods and recipes with friends using Cronometer even if they don't have a Gold account. You do need the email addresses that your friends are using for their Cronometer accounts. If they have Gold, they can send a friend request to you.
