Breakfast in Brisbane...
Hi @Susan_RD_101 thank you for introducing yourself! Sounds like you have a fun life!
My name is Phil and I live in Brisbane, Australia. I am creating a breakfast cereal and am stuck trying to optimize it nutrient-wise. You mentioned you have expertise in vitamins and minerals and I would love to know how much of the day's nutrition (optimally) should come from breakfast and ultimately the best ratios for the following specific nutrients - calcium:magnesium, zinc:copper and iron:vitamin C.
My main focus is on Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Iron, Vitamin C, B1, B2, B3, B6, Vitamin A, Vitamin E and Folate.
Have a fantastic day!!!

Hello!
It's nice to virtually meet you.
As a rule of thumb, I would aim to achieve 25-30% of the recommended daily target for each vitamin and mineral at your breakfast meal. (This target will vary per person based on how many calories are included at different meals and the type of diet they follow.)
Regarding ratios, I wrote blogs on 2/3 of them:
Zinc and copper: https://cronometer.com/blog/nutrient-ratios-zinccopper/
Ca/Mg: https://cronometer.com/blog/cronometers-nutrient-ratios-calcium-magnesium/With iron/vitamin C, you want to include 50-150 mg of vitamin C to enhance the absorption of non-heme iron (=1 cup strawberries, 1/2 to 1 red pepper, 1 kiwi, etc.)
Is there anything in particular you are wondering about the nutrients that you are focused on? This site is good for general information. https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/list-VitaminsMinerals/
Also, don't forget about Cronometer's Oracle that can help you find sources of these nutrients if they are missing in your diet.
Kind regards,
