Google fit not syncing activity data in android device.

I have a pro account and the google fit activity and sleep has stopped syncing.
Google fit is only syncing my weight now and not my activity data. It was syncing my weight, activity and sleep last month when I first started. Then it stopped syncing my sleep and it does not ever appear that this is an option any more. Now it only syncing my weight data and nothing else. I have disconnected and reconnected more than once, following the instructions that I have read online. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled both apps. It is frustrating because I don't have time to continue to try and figure this out.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have a google pixel 2xl.
