How to deal with "salad only" vs. "complete salad" nutrition labels?
Sorry if this has been asked before (probably an FAQ), but forum search is currently broken for me, and Google site search hasn't turned up anything.
Many salad kits contain two sets of nutrition facts: "salad only" and "complete salad". Scanning the barcode brings up the complete salad data. Is there a way to select the "salad" only version? This seems like a type of serving side; not sure if Cronometer has support for that, or I need to clone the food entry - but then which entry will scanning the barcode bring up?

You can make a copy of the food to enter in the details for the salad only.
They would both come up when you scan the barcode or search for the food, so I would recommend adding 'salad only' to the name and you'll know which one to choose.

Thanks! Would this copy get published to CRDB? If not, how can I share it?

You can submit an issue to ask the curation team to add the salad only option to our public database, or publish your custom copy through the Custom Foods tab on our website.
You can share foods with friends in Cronometer with a subscription to Cronometer Gold. Add friends through the Sharing section of the Settings tab. Add friends by entering in the email address they use for their Cronometer account.
