Adding new food not in database

Since recent update on iOS I can’t add new foods. It accepts nutritional photo and ticks auto fill done but when I take second photo of front of packaging it just freezes.
If I delete app to re install will I lose all my data as my iPhone says I will if I delete the app

Hi Julesey1408,

You can delete the app from your iphone and you will not lose your data. Re-install the app and sign into your account.

Your data is removed only when you delete your Cronometer account.
