Net calories for dummies
Hello,
I'm wondering how to interpret my net calories and whether I'm currently making ends meet. I've read elsewhere on this forum that net calories = your calories consumed minus calories burned, but my summary today looks like this, with net calories showing 1841.
Carbs tracking is set to net carbs with sugar and alcohol. My goal is set to maintaining my current weight. Do I need to consume more calories to strike a balance or am I on track with the total calorie count? I'm aware that I'm completely off my macro target distribution for carbs, proteins and fat, but that's another story (I think?).

Hi Elessar,
The net calories in your energy target is equal to: Calories consumed - exercise calories, to show how many calories you've eaten that weren't "spent" on exercise.
