Calories burned

I'm having a difficult time understanding the amount of calories burned on the type of exercise that I am doing. For example, on a 7.5 mile run this morning for 1 hour and 15 minutes, why is my calories burned measured as only 325? Looking at every other calorie burning calculator on the web, my calories burned comes up to about 686. Where is the discrepancy?

    Hi there!

    The calories burned for exercises in Cronometer are estimated based on your sex, weight, and level of effort for each exercise. A 10-minute mile is a 'hard' effort level; if you increase the level of effort when logging the exercise, does that bring your calories burned more in line with what you are seeing elsewhere?
