Burned kcal? New User

I’ve been in bed most of the day due to a slight reaction to the 2nd Moderna vaccine but it says I’ve burned 2187 calories, which obviously is impossible.

  • Hi there,

Your calories burned number is individual to you, but in general it includes:

    1. BMR - calories burned for basic body functioning.

    2. Activity level - the level you selected to estimate the amount of activity you get in a typical day. If you were in bed most of the day, this would be a 'Sedentary' level of activity.

    3. Exercises logged manually or imported into your diary from a connected device. If you are using an activity tracker to record all your activity, we recommend setting your activity level to none to avoid double-counting those calories burned.
