Upgrading to gold using different platforms

I have an Android phone and and Apple IPad. I currently have the free version installed on both and they sync. I want to upgrade to the Gold version. If I do, will I have to buy the Gold version twice - once on Android and once on Apple? Or is there a way to only buy for one but use on both?

I don't know the specific answer to your question but I subscribed via the web site and have gold access on both my android and ios devices. That might be the safer path if you don't get an official answer.

The Gold subscription is associated with your Cronometer account, so once you're subscription is active you can access the Gold features on any device by logging into your account.
