Carbs in black coffee ?
I've read from other sources that black fresh ground coffee has 0 carbs. Cronometer shows 1.1 g carbs per 8 oz. How many carbs are in fresh ground black coffee?

Hi @Glen,
The amount of carbohydrates in coffee was measured and reported by the research team at the Nutrient Coordinating Center for the food called "Coffee, Prepared From Grounds" in our database. The carbs might come from the finely ground pieces of the coffee beans that get through the filter because all the carbs listed come from dietary fibre.
Since this is a very low amount of carbohydrates, US nutrition labeling regulations would allow manufacturers to round this down to 0 grams of carbs. This may be why many sources report 0 carbs for ground coffee.
