I have a friend, and we are both Gold subscribers. She shared a recipe with me, and it didn't show up until I had deleted some of my custom foods/recipes. Is there a limit at play here?
There is limit on the amount of custom items shown in the default list that is loaded in your Food Search. Though there is not a limit on the number of custom items you can have or share. Was the recipe not found when you searched for it by name?

Correct. It wasn't found when I searched by name. I even tried setting the filter to only show custom foods. I've only tried this on iOS and not on the website. Deleting/retiring items seems to help.
