How do you update the app to the latest version without deleting the datek

To update the app, please visit the App Store on your mobile device.
Tap 'Profile icon' or your 'Profile picture' (upper-right). ...
On iOS, scroll down to see pending updates.
Tap Update located next to Cronometer.
