Trends - Tracking Intake Of Particular Food
I'd like to track the intake of a particular food over time as opposed to the particular nutrients in that food.
Table sugar is 100% sucrose. Many foods, though, contain a combination of fructose, glucose and sucrose. If I want to compare my table sugar intake last year during the month of February, I'm limited to comparing Sucrose against Total Sugars in the "Trends" chart, which does not give me the information I'm looking for.
There are many other foods that one might want to know were consumed in the past - apart from their nutritional composition. If you're a vegetarian, you might want to chart in Trends the grams of beef, chicken or fish consumed last year against Total Protein, in order to know one's intake of protein from animal sources versus one's intake from vegetable sources.
If anyone knows of an on-line service that allows this sort of analysis, please post it.

Hi Starchivore,
There's an option to export servings on our website, under Settings > Account > Account Data. Select Export Data, choose a time range, then Export Servings.
This will give you a dated list of the foods logged to your diary in that time range in a .csv file that you can search or sort to find when you ate a particular food.
I hope that helps!

Just want to double-check, as I've never done that before. If the data is exported, will the original entries remain in my Cronometer online diary?

Yes! No changes will be made to the entries you've logged in your Cronometer account.
