Dr. Hyman's UltraSimple Diet (author of Young Forever)

I tried the diet and can say it aided in digestion by eliminating inflammatory foods. I felt hunger pangs for the first time in a year.

Goals:
Develop a meal plan for the purpose of longevity.
Works for at least 80% of all people on the North American continent.
Help deliver on Melinda Gates' idea to nourish 1 billion women and girls.
Collaborative feedback with all people.
Connect Dr. Hyman's work to accountable nutrition and longevity science.

What are your thoughts on creating a functional meal plan using Dr. Hyman's UltraSimple Diet as the starting point?

    My opinion: I am worried about the supplements, the low zinc, the low potassium:sodium ratio, and the low calcium:magnesium ratio.

    So, I am currently removing the magnesium supplement because I think it interfered with calcium absorption. I am also removing the multivitamin because the zinc:copper ratio was still too low, and I think zinc should be eaten in normal foods. Therefore, I am adding 3-4 ounces of beef to each meal while maintaining a good PRAL alkalinity. Also, I am reducing nuts and flax seeds to lower copper to get zinc higher.
