Logging resistance exercise

When logging resistance exercise you have to enter a duration. I'm currently training for body fat loss so the calories logged from the exercise matter and impact what I can eat and continue to reach my goals.

What are the thoughts out there on how you define duration? For example, you lift weights for one hour, would you log the duration as one hour or would you reduce that to an estimate of actual time moving weight vs rest periods in between?

    I'm not an expert on this but I'd track the full hour. Recovery time between sets is still part of weight lifting, with elevated heart rate, etc. Also, for those of us importing activities from devices (e.g., Apple Watch), it logs the full hour.
