Dynamic Macronutrient Calculation (protein)
Cronometer offers 3 ways to set macro targets: Keto, fixed, and ratio. Only keto dynamically calculates macros. It would be helpful to have other dynamic options. Specifically, a "protein target".
It is useful to have a fixed protein target in grams, as consistent intake is important for lean mass. But fat and carb requirements depend on energy requirements. Two approaches:
1. Fixed protein + fat / carb ratio
2. Fixed protein + carbs that depend on activity level (with fat making up the balance)
You can approximate the latter using the "athletic bonus" under keto. But that is kludged. If the athletic bonus was a user-configurable field (e.g. 10 g carbs /50 kcal exercise) it would be close to option #2.
