Macro Bar Calculation

Hi, I had a question about the macronutrient calculator. If I understand that carbs and protein are 4 calories per gram and fats are 9 calories per gram. When I perform the following calculation (300 * 4) + (370 * 4) + (175 * 9) = 4255 cals, however by Energy output is showing 3875. I was wondering if this is a bug or is there another calculation occurring that I'm not factoring in? Thank you in advanced

    After a bit of digging I found the answer in the forums. I do wish there was a way to just keep it the standard for simplicity vs. Cronometer determining behind the scenes the actual calories per gram of macronutrient. In this scenario I’d rather overestimate than underestimate especially when trying to lose weight
