Expanded Dexcom Integration Coverage
In the latest version of the app, we’ve extended support for our Dexcom integration.
We’ve seen the impact that this integration has made to help the lives of people living with diabetes in the United States, and we’re excited to broaden our reach to the UK, Ireland, Canada and Australia.

I've been trialing a Dexcom g7 and love it (I'm a dietitian and have reps who hook me up with stuff), but obviously those aren't going to be as readily available with an Rx.
HOWEVER - Dexcom has the Stelo, which is for people w/T2 (non-insulin dependent) AND those without DM who want to learn more about their BG. It's available without an prescription and is only $89-99/mo. so it's easily accessible to the masses. That being said, it requires a different app. I just switched to it last night and really like it (the app is really focused on educating people about cause/effect of lifestyle with their BG). I'd love for you guys to look into integrating with the Stelo app as well!

I was looking into stelo due specifically to its integration with cronometer. I used to use the Nutrisense app, which has a lot of great detail too, so now I'm unsure as to whether this integration is supported. I'm a cronometer gold member so I want to use a CGM that actually works with cronometer so I only have to log in one place. I would really appreciate definitive information on this. thanks.

I don't see an answer here. Do we know if the stelo info integrates?
-
yes. The Stelo data comes into cronometer. It is a different app but still feeds the dexcom web portal. I use a Stelo and my data comes in without issue.

@lohroffc Can you explain what you did? I have stelo and cannot get dexcom data to show up in cronometer. I do see it fine on the dexcom webportal. I can sort of use Health Connect but there are other problems. Thanks!

You need to create an account on
. That is the login you use when you connect the device in Cronometer. -

@lohroffc Many thanks for the reply. That is how I thought it would work. For a brief moment you gave me hope. But no luck. I have a clarity account. I see the data there. I connect cronometer with that user name and password. It says it has synced successfully. But no data shows up!
Hmmm. Maybe if I stop health connect it will pull from dexcom? Desperate but worth trying. Appreciate you trying!

Did you do a force sync in Cronometer?
Also note that the data is 3 hours behind so if you’re looking at the 3 hour grid in Cronometer you won’t see anything. -
Thanks. Yes, tried the forced sync (and unlinking / relinking, clearing cache ... sigh!). It says it syncs data successfully but I don't see any showing up.
Very helpful to know on the 3 hr delay. Health Connect is the same. Since that seems closer (I get right data with wrong timestamps!) I may focus on that.
Silly to have a 3 hr grid ... ☺

looking at this more closely, the glucose readings are coming in from Apple Health, not the dexcom account. Do Cronometer have access to read blood glucose from Apple Health in the health app?
-
Ah! Thanks for looking into it - Very good to know. I'm on android so will try to make Health Connect work.
