Hi,

Is it possible to add a total calorie count under each category in the diary?
For example, when you add all your food for breakfast, below that category it will total the calories.

This would be the same for all categories. This way, you can get a quick glance at how many calories you are eating and can quickly total it to know if you are staying within your targets.

As it stands right now, it makes it a bit of a hassle to jump around to different tabs and charts to figure it out.

  • I'm not sure which version you're using, but in checking my iOS app and the web app, I see the total calories by (or under) each category name - uncategorized, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. The gram weights for each macronutrient (proteins, grams, and fat) is also there. You can quickly calculate the calorie count for each macronutrient by multiplying the gram weight * 4 for both proteins and carbs, and the gram weight x 9 for fats.

  • You can change the way the subtotals report under each diary group by going to Settings>Display>Diary Settings>Show Group Subtotals. Your options are: None, Calories, Macronutrients (which included Calories), or Same as Summary Column in Diary (which is also custom if you were, for example, more interested in protein at a glance than you were calories).
