Water entry confusion

I need to track that I am drinking 8 glasses of water per day. The water area of the Diary shows a line of glasses with 'plus' signs in them and a bar graph showing % complete of a 3700 gram target which I cannot find any way of customizing.

My target is 2400 grams and I add this as a refill of my 800 mL (800g) cup into my diary as and when I do that. The refills do not seem to impact the glass count but do progress the bar graph.

The graph also tracks water in all foods such as mugs of tea or coffee, even chicken wings, bread etc.

I am confused as to how I can best track my plain water intake. Do I need to 'fill' 3 glasses each time I enter plain 800 mL (grams) of water into my diary? Seems a dumb duplication of effort.

Truly not interested in the water I get from chicken wings etc but it seems that is what I get in the graph. I just want to enter plain water in the diary as and when I get it and for that simple count to show up somewhere. What am I missing.

  • I'm only on my 2nd day with the app. I had similar questions. Under the glasses there is a gear where when I clicked it I was able to customize the tracking goal and units. Also there was an option for Show Total water nutrient target par option. If I click on the bar I can see Tap water separated from food items. I was able to click on something and the bar would toggle between only water and food but I can't duplicate it right now.
