Why does Cronometer not give the option to see calories versus kcal?

When I log in foods, if they have a nutritional info panel, I can't make number match up. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!

    I thought they were the same. Calorie and kCal.
    You can go into your settings, click on More (...), click on Display settings and scroll down and toggle Cal (kcal) or kilojules

    When I see nutritional info on foods I am using, Cronometer seems to always have different Cal numbers for equivalent amounts.... even simple things like canned vegetables.
