Keto-vore
I am a long-time user of cronometer. +10 years. I have successfully overcome diabetes by eating a keto - sometimes carnivore diet. I don't see a lot of assistance for this type of eating on cronometer. On food suggestions, for one...there's vegan, pescatarian, etc.... Please incorporate some features focusing on us too..for I know there are many of us....
In the grass-fed department: the foods available for entry often show seed oils or complete a food by adding nutrients from non-grass-fed data...can't we get better data than this?
Don't get me wrong, I love love love cronometer...I have used it a very long time and it has helped me in more ways than I can explain in this brief note.

Good suggestion. Does that information exist in reputable database? When you buy grass-fed meat does the producer/manufacturer provide that data? I was curious and looked around and found this. https://understandingag.com/nutritional-comparisons-between-grass-fed-beef-and-conventional-grain-fed-beef/#:~:text=This particular omega-3 fatty, development, and aids in digestion.
Do you create a Custom Food with that data to log more precisely?

I don't know the answer to your question Maggie about if the data is provided for the foods. I went to the site you found and it was very interesting! In my opinion, regenerative agriculture is the way to go. Unfortunately, when I am entering my food in cronometer, I like to see the most complete nutritional data possible so I generally use the standard entries. I just keep in mind and know that my grass-fed beef and wild-caught fish are better for me...I know I sometimes get a little too wrapped up in all this but I am quite passionate about soil and the food we eat...:)

I totally get your passion for complete data. I guess that's why we're here and not using data from Fitness Pal. Cronometer has a grass-fed beef from the USDA: Beef, Grass-Fed, Strip Steaks, Lean Only, Raw
I guess the lab data might be found with the associations of the regenerative farmers? It would be good marketing for them to have that data. I don't know if quality-assured, lab-tested data is out there somewhere. Nothing wrong with be too wrapped up in quality data, and food and soil that heals us and doesn't sicken us. -
I am just starting on keto and I’m having trouble with the target calories in the app being way to low to get in my macro needs. What do I need to change?
