Macronutrient totals
Can you tell me why the totals for the subcategories of Carbs do not add up to the Carbs total? Similarly for the fats?
e.g.
Carbs total: 305.9g
Fiber 7.2g
Starch 119.2g
Sugars132.2g
Fat total: 112.9g
mono: 34.8g
poly: 23.9g
sat: 40.7g
trans:2.5g
cholesterol:444.5mg
It's not a biggy (although it is bothering the OCD part of my brain), but I am using Cronometer for a college assignment and would like to be able to explain the discrepancies.

Hello,
The reason this occurs is rounding. Everything in nutrition calculations, from grams of a nutrient to calories is rounded. Unfortunately, this doesn't always lead to perfect math calculations.
