Flax seed
Hello - This site: https://foodrevolution.org/blog/health-benefits-flaxseed/ explains that there are a LOT of amino acids in flaxseed. However when I add 1/8 cup (golden, ground just before use) nothing really shows up in Cronometer. Help please.

Hi @Sued,
Make sure you are using one of our foods with the most data! We have a lot of branded items in our database with information from the packaging or manufacturer which may be accurate, but not complete! To get the most information try to use items from the common foods tab, or tailor your search only for NCCDB foods. Try using "Food #453347 Flax Seeds, Not Fortified" and you will find a full amino acid profile.
Make sure you have amino acids visible in your profile by going to the profile tab, scrolling to the bottom and selecting the "Protein" tab in the "Nutritional Targets" section. Then make sure that the checkboxes under "Visible" are all selected! We recently released a blog post about how to choose the best data for your needs here: https://cronometer.com/blog/6-tips-getting-nutrition-data/

Thank you Hilary - all 3 of these suggestions were very helpful indeed!

I would appreciated the food item 'defatted flax seeds' added.
