Ask the Oracle to rank the LOWEST amount per gram/calorie
Can you please add ranking by the LOWEST amounts? Sometimes I want to search for lowest carbs or fats or cholesterol or whatever in a food category to get ideas on what to eat. PLEASE!!! (Or am I just missing on how to search that?)

Same wish here. As I do not find it here, I always go to self nutrition. They have the feature. BUT: self nutrition is unusable! Whatever I look for, lowest or highest, the search results are always congested with strange stuff such as various food extracts and dried stuff nobody eats. It would be a great feature if Crono had a good search. I am not aware of any good search elsewhere... Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the suggestion! Try also using the suggest foods option on your diary page! This is similar to the oracle but will try to find foods that would be good additions to your days food to meet both macro and micronutrient targets. For instance if you have already met your carb target but still need more potassium for the day it will suggest foods low in carbs and high in potassium! There are some filter options there too so you get more results based on your preferences!

Those are nice options, but sometimes AI(Oracle) just can't read my mind I hope this is an easy implementation since it's all DB queries. Thanks!

Very helpful to learn that "if you have already met your carb target but still need more potassium for the day it (Oracle) will suggest foods low in carbs and high in potassium". That makes going Gold more appealing to me. (I've only been using Cronometer for 3 days and am not yet sure what I would need Gold for.) So farI'm impressed by the basic app. Much better than anything else I've tried, including MyFitness and Nutronix.

@Rejuvenated you can see a pretty good synopsis of gold features at http://cronometer.com/#gold. Check out our Blog for some posts about newer features and how they might be helpful to you! https://cronometer.com/blog/

It would be great if you could prioritize which macro goal you want to meet. I'm trying to get more protein in my diet and it suggests things with very little protein.

Hi Saramae21,
If you use the Food Suggestions feature in the diary tab, you can get food recommendations that help you meet your remaining targets for the day. The food suggestions do take into account your macronutrient targets too!

Wow, 4 years passed and it's still not added...
Can you please add to the Oracle: ranking by the LOWEST amounts?
It really doesn't seem to be a big IT deal.
