papaya seeds macro nutrient information
Hi, Just wondering, does anyone know where I can find the macronutrient information for papaya seeds? I've looked all over the web and can't seem to find that info. Thanks for the help.

When we have enough valid data available for any nutrient or food we do not currently track we will add it as an option. Unfortunately, we don't have the data for Papaya seeds from our primary sources for our database. We do not analyse nutrients here at Cronometer, therefore we must rely upon these sources for our database.
User feedback is what drives our user interface to be the best it can be, so we appreciate any and all suggestions! Our very long list is ever-growing, but we will keep it in mind for sure!Hilary

This paper discusses supplementing Papaya Seed Powder to the diets of Nile fish (alas probably not with the interest of the fish at heart!).
It says:
Seeds of papaya are accounted for about 16% of the fresh fruit weight (Passera and Spettoli, 1981). According to Bolu et al. (2009), proximate analysis of dried pawpaw seeds contains 97.27% dry matter, 30.08% crude protein, 34.80% crude fat, 1.67% crude fiber, 7.11% ash and 23.67% nitrogen free extract.
That data comes from table 1, page 3 of Bolu et al. (2009) here:

This chapter talks about how those numbers are linked to carbohydrate calculations:

Maybe this?
%
2.73 Water
30.08 Crude Protein
34.8 Crude Fat
7.11 Ash
1.67 Crude Fibre
23.67 NFE25.28 Total carbohydrate = 100 - (W+CP+CF+A)
23.61 Available carbohydrate = Total carbohydrate - Crude FibreI estimated Water = 100 - 97.27 (dried matter).
This gives a sum of 100.06 which is not 100, so it's not quite right. -
Thank you soooo much! All of you. Very interesting! I'll check this all out and get back to you. I found a published article with breakdown according to the different types of papaya. But I have to study it a bit to be able to use the data. With all of this, we should be able to get an idea of the macro nutrient profile. Thank you once again.
