I just downloaded cronometer app yesterday and there is no Samsung device apps (no Samsung Health) listed as available devices to connect to. ???

That is correct, we are not yet connected with Samsung health - we are hoping to be soon! In the meantime you could try connecting to google fit then importing your samsung health data via google fit: https://cronometer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020730752-Google-Fit

We had a hiccup with Samsung in that they, um, weren't interested in our application to integrate with them
They received some feedback from our users (thanks eveyone!) and decided to reconsider 
so while we have been pushed back a few months, we are back on track!

That's great you are currently working on it. I mainly use Samsung Health since I have a Galaxy Active 2 watch currently. That's really been one of the bigger things stopping me from getting a gold subscription.
Is there any change on this? My big, possibly only concern is getting my crono food data into S-health as I know have a Galax watch. I appreciate all you crono folks do! This is by far the best nutrition tracking app out there. I actually get excited to add new foods to the database 😂😁 so thanks to all!

However, data from Cronometer is not currrently used in Samsung Health. We're working with them to include this in the future.
