Micronutrients don't always seem accurate

Been tracking for 1 week and I love this app so far, my issue is that I don't think entries that I'm using a very accurate... What can I do about this... Where can I get a better entry it I think all of them on my app might be wrong?

For example I read on Google that peanut butter is loaded with omega 6.

I ate two table spoons and tracked. I tried every entry for Smuckers natural creamy peanut butter but it's showing no omega 6.

I don't mind creating custom entry but I'm not sure where I can find correct data to add it.

  • Hi SushiEater,

Most brand name products will have the only the nutrition information shown on the Nutrition Facts table on your package.

To get much more nutrition information, look for a generic alternative from sources like NCCDB and USDA. For example, Peanut Butter, Natural, Salted or Peanut Butter, Natural, Unsalted both have some omega-6 in them!

  • You can also edit a copy of any food in our database - this is handy if you would like to take the food we have and make a few tweaks to better match your product.

You can right-click a food in your diary to View/Edit the selected food in the Foods tab, or click on the Foods tab, then the Search sub-tab to search for a food. Use the menu in the top right corner to Edit a Copy, make your changes and save it as one of your custom foods to use in the future.

    I hope that helps!
