Support ALL Standard Unit Types for ALL Foods: cup, tbsp, tsp, g
PLEASE allow ALL standard unit TYPEs to be selected for ALL foods: (cup, tbsp, tsp, g).
Display common fractions for each type (e.g. cup: 1/2, 1/3, 1/4; tbsp: 1/2; tsp: 1/2, 1/4, 1/8).
Doing this requires enhancing the database with the DENSITY for each food. This should have been in from the beginning, but it's not too late to update the system now. In the real world (real kitchen) we're using standard measuring cups, measuring spoons, and g scales.

Hi Mark,
There are a number of serving size options for foods from analytical sources, like NCCDB and USDA, where we have the density of foods. Unfortunately, this information is not available for the majority of packaged product, when the density is unknown. It is still a worthwhile endeavor to incorporate common volumetric serving sizes, where possible. Thanks for your suggestion!
