sharing recipes
Is there an easy way to create a recipe in Cronometer and then share it with another use?

With a gold subscription, you can send a friend request from the Profile tab. Find the Sharing section, then Add Friend. Once the request is accepted, your friend will be able to add your custom foods and recipes to his or her diary and vice versa.

Hilary,
Thank you! I assume she needs a gold subscription as well?

Hi Nate,
Only one of you needs a gold subscription to share foods!Hilary

Hilary,
While I see that we can share recipes, I can’t find any way to do that. There doesn’t seem to be a share option, and all the support pages just say that it can be done, to how.

Recipes and custom foods are automatically shared. They are listed in blue in search results, the same as your own recipes and custom foods.

Thanks - worked perfectly!

Is there a way to share only specific recipes / custom foods? Sharing is great but I don't want to see all of a friend's custom food as it clutters my list with too many entries that I won't be using.
If not, I suppose the easiest way would be to export a recipe and send the file to them for import? Is the export tied to my account only in some way?
Thanks,

Hi @AndreMan Unfortunately not at this time for gold users, however we hope to make sharing foods easier in the future so I will pass your request along.
Pro users can do this currently to share specific foods with specific clients.Hilary

Hello, is there a time delay for recipes to be shared once accounts are linked? I have been added to a gold member But I cannot see any of their recipies

Thanks for reporting this! We have identified a delay that we are looking into.

I signed up for Gold and shared with hubby, he still can't see any of my stuff

Looks like there is still a delay on this. I plan mine and my wife's meals each night, and I'm importing a lot of recipes. There is sometimes a long delay before I can see it.
