Custom recipe macro total doesn't match the individual total.

After I've entered a custom recipe, the macro totals (e.g. protein) for the total recipe don't match the total if I go through each ingredient in the list and add up the protein manually. In the example I'm looking at, the recipe states 42g whereas it comes to just over 39g when I add it up manually. Any ideas why this might be?

    Hi there Tony,

It could be a rounding issue? Hard to say without taking a look. Would you mind sharing the recipe number with me in a private message, or send an email to support@cronometer.com and we can look into this?

    Thanks!

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for getting back to me. Here's the main recipe which shows a total of 42.6g of protein. If I click on the individual ingredients as seen in the Ingredients list and add up their individual protein totals then it comes to 39.2g.

It's not a big issue, just curious as to why it's different?

    Thanks,

    Tony

It looks like we might be defaulting to your last-used serving size rather than the amount you added to your recipe. If you update the serving size in the ingredient pop-up to match the amount in your recipe - I think they'll add up correctly.

I've logged this to be fixed. Thanks for reporting it :)
