Duplicate Option

I duplicate quite a bit of my foods on the same day, and I'm constantly having to Copy and Paste. It would great if you could add a Duplicate option to the mobile and as well as the desktop version.

  • Hi MikeyV,

We've got an option to Copy Previous Day that brings over everything you've logged on the previous day and adds a copy to the current day - is that sort of what you're looking for?

  • Hello Karen, and yes I did see that feature, it's great, but I don't eat the same foods every day. For example I do drink several protein shakes in a day, so currently I have to Copy and Paste, instead it would be nice to Duplicate. Sometimes I just eat the same meal I cooked for Meal 2, for Meal 5, but I did not eat that same meal the day before.

  • You can copy an entire meal all in one go to paste it in another group, in that case.

On the website, click the diary group header to select all the items in that group. Then right-click on the highlighted items, or use the menu in the top right corner of the diary to copy the selected items. Them paste them in the new group by right-clicking on a new group, or clicking a new diary group then clicking the menu in the top of the diary again.

You can also hold the shift key while clicking items in your diary to copy any number of items logged in your diary at once.

Apologies if this isn't quite what you're looking for - I'm not sure of the difference between copy and duplicate.
