Hi fat but good fat, is it ok
so I eat a bowl of porridge with a load of nuts and seeds pumpkin flax almonds cashews .
The aim to load up protein, certain vitamins and dietary requirements in the morning.
Issue is the fat is already going to 80% rda by the time I am done.
Is this necessarily a bad thing? And is it in line with keto type diets?
from my understanding cholesterol baddies are negated by cholesterol goodies

All good things in moderation, including healthy fats. I don't know your full situation, but my quick reaction is scale back the nuts/seeds. I also have a porridge recipe that has them as well and it is closer to 40% of my RDA of fat (24g/60g). I use 1Tbsp (metric weights will vary for this imperial measurement - approx 12/7/10g) of chia seeds, ground flax seed, and hemp hearts. I also include 15g of walnuts. There is much more in there, but aside from the 150g of 5% greek yogurt these are the primary fats in the bowl. Best of luck to you and I am happy to share the full recipe if you are interested. Best of luck in your journey.
