  • Hi @Mauser ,
We have it!! Go to The Profile tab on your Android Device, and select "Connect Google Fit"!

  • Thank you!! This will help me migrate away from my fitbit, which I'm constantly losing!

  • I reintegrated Google Fit to Cronometer (thank you for doing this). Biometrics synced immediately (weight, height) but activity for today has not synced (immediately or within an hour). Is this to be expected ... perhaps it takes 24 hours to sync (the activity)? Maybe I am doing something wrong (search in forums, did not find this particular problem). Thanks in advance.

  • Hi @jerbir I haven't seen this problem in the past; thanks for reporting this! Has it synced since? You should also check you have allowed your permissions to import data into Cronometer. You can check permissions on your mobile device's settings menu.

  • I too have had this issue. It started before the Google Fit update, but has increased in frequency despite clearing both caches/data and reinstalling. Cronometer pulls in biometrics but automatically recorded activity (walking, biking, etc.) is inconsistent. The really weird thing is that all Fit activities are removed from or added to the diary when this happens.

  • I just got the most recent update that says it includes Google Fit fixes so I'll update if its still not working! (Otherwise assume its fixed!)

Activity with Google fit still does not seem to be recorded in Chronometer

  • Hi kev,

Could you try disconnecting and then connecting to your Google Fit account from the Profile tab in the Cronometer app?

There are detailed steps for connecting Google Fit to Cronometer here: https://cronometer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020730752

Please let me know if you are still running into issues importing your calories burned from Google Fit.

  • Hi Karen
Yeah, it's still not synching the activity data

  • Hi kev,

It can help to get your data flowing again to reset the connection from the Google Fit app as well. There are instructions in the article to access your connected apps in Google fit to disconnect Cronometer. Then you can connect again to Google Fit again from within the Cronometer app.

My apologies if you have already done this step as well - would you mind sending some screenshots of your diary and the calories burned from your activity in your Google Fit account to support@cronometer.com so we can look into it for you?

    Cheers,

Hi all, I've got the same issue of inconsistency, and I believe I have figured it out (at least, one of them, as there can be multiple causes of the same looking problem).
I use Google Fit integration only to import my Freeletics (a 3d party program ) workouts. And I do the latter not on a daily basis. I also use my PC to log in the Cronometer data a lot.
So, it looks like my Freeletics workouts get logged into Cronometer only on those days I log in into Cronometer with my phone. If there is a workout logged into GoogleFit, but I do not log into Cronometer with my phone on the very same day, Cronometer will be completely blind to it later on.

  • Hi Sashko,

That's right Google Fit and Apple Health data is only synced through the mobile app. Cronometer is not able to sync these sources when you log into your account on the website.

  • Any solution yet? I have the same problem.

  • Hi, does cronometer pulls the heart information from Google Fit?
